Kevin Hill

Kevin Hill

Kevin was introduced to shooting at Sherborne School on a summer holiday camp with a trusty No.8. Choice of senior school was easy as one had a rifle range and the other didn’t! This didn’t last as it was soon knocked down to build a new prep school.  He started shooting in earnest at university and subsequently Ham & Petersham Rifle Club.

Shooting was obviously in his blood as his great grandfather, Maurice Blood, won the Olympic bronze medal 1908 for individual 1000 yards.

He shoots with Wandsworth Full Bore Rifle Club and the Surrey Rifle Association, representing them in .22 prone, .22 three position, .22 pistol, air pistol, air rifle and Target Rifle. He has shot for England and toured Canada in 2018 with Wandsworth FBRC.

Away from the range Kevin is an engineer and has worked in many industries, fixing machines that no-one else can.
