Steph started off shooting in the Gloucestershire Army Cadets where she was so small that her coach had to stand on her feet to stop her from sliding backwards from the recoil. Even though the rifle was almost bigger than her she was hooked and went onto bigger and better things after she left the Cadets. Steph was fortunate enough to be selected to represent Great Britain on tour to Canada in 2010 and 2013 and she regularly represents Wales in both the National Match (which they won in 2016!!) and the Mackinnon. Her biggest challenge was to be selected to represent Great Britain in the Palma Match and whilst she may only be a reserve this time she is soaking up all the knowledge she can so that she is a shoe-in for the next one.
