RSA International Team Announced
Great Britain will be represented by the following team in the RSA International Match, to be held at the General de Wet range in Bloemfontein, South Africa on 09 March 2024…

Matthew Ensor wins Grand Aggregate!
Matthew Ensor has defended his overnight lead in the Grand Aggregate to top the tables after four days of intense heat and competition. Matthew finished off with a champions score of 50.5 at 900m to claw back a point deficit going into the final range. Alex Coetzee, of South Africa, was 2nd and Jim Bailey, of Australia, 3rd two points behind. These results are provisional. More details to follow in our dairy post later this evening.

Protea Team Announced
Great Britain will be represented by the following team in the Protea Match, to be held at the General de Wet range in Bloemfontein, South Africa on 14 March 2024…

GBRT win the Protea Match!
The Great Britain Rifle Team have won the Protea Match by a margin of 32 points and 36 V-bulls over South Africa in 2nd and Australia, 3rd. It was a hard fought match in cooler conditions than we have experienced over the past week with a fickle head-wind for the majority of the match. GBRT's coaches demonstrated their wind-reading prowess at 900m, to allow the team extend their lead and win convincingly. Full scores available here

Parag Patel wins the State President Trophy
Parag Patel produced a fine display in the final of the State President competition to win by a solitary v-bull from Brian Carter of New Zealand. More details to follow in our diary tonight…

Matthew Ensor 2nd in SA Open Championship
Matthew Ensor finished 2nd in the SA Open Championship to Brandon Green of the USA. Brandon produced a fine display scoring 73.5 to win by a single point over GBRT’s Matthew Ensor. Alex Coetzee of South Africa was 3rd two pints behind Matthew. More details to follow in the diary…

GBU25s Win Team World Championship
The Great Britain Under 25s produced a spectacular display of wind-reading at 900m to win their Team World Championship over the USA in 2nd and provisionally South Africa 3rd. The Veterans were 2nd, behind Australia, in their World Championship match. More details to follow later…

Barnett 2nd, Underwood 3rd in WLRC
Ashley Bidgood, of Australia, produced a fine display under the heat and pressure of the Top 10 shootout to win the WLRC by 6 v-bulls over Glyn Barnett. Jon Underwood achieved top gun score in the final with a nearly flawless score of 75.7, and finished 3rd, a further point adrift. Overall GBRT occupied positions 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th of the top 10.
