Saturday 12th August 2022
Today was another early start for the team as we packed and departed for Ottawa. Another Epic road trip was ahead as we made the long journey from Quebec to Ottawa – 450km, most of us opting to do the journey in ‘one hit’ just stopping for a late breakfast / lunch.
Dinner was left in the capable hands of Tom Rylands who prepared, and cooked, an incredible BBQ for the team – most welcome after the long drive. We also enjoyed Sortilege (Thanks to Yusef) – a Maple Syrup Whisky – dangerously nice and soon to be a new addition to many in the team’s drinks cabinet. Tired from the journey, an early night was had by all. Today also marked another milestone in the team – the first day where Martin didn’t impact the local Lobster population!
