Ed Dickson

Edward Dickson

Ed is a chartered accountant at Barclays, in their Planning and Stress Testing function. Until recently, Ed held planning and reporting roles at Investec & The Northview Group, in the business of originating, securitising and servicing residential mortgages.

Whilst at Oundle and Marlborough, Ed was the first person to win both the Schools’ Hundred and Cadet Grand Aggregate. He shoots for Hampshire, has represented England in the National Match (going clean on his first cap), and won the Alexandra in 2012. Ed is looking forward to his first Great Britain tour, 10 years since his last visit to Ottawa with Athelings. His other tours include the GBU19s, GBU25s, the NRA team, and he reserved for the GB Palma team in 2015.

Ed is married to Jo, who is also a shooter, and has a one year old son, Andrew – who will probably struggle not to be a shooter.

When first trying target rifle, Ed was overheard saying “I don’t really like full bore; I’m not very good at it” – his opinion has since changed somewhat!
