Philip Chapman-Sheath

Phil started shooting smallbore at Stamford School, migrating into Fullbore through school and London University. A busy career as a junior doctor and too much rugby, coupled with working in Australia and Canada, marriage and the rather rapid arrival of four sons, meant that he had “a few years” away from shooting. A chance meeting with another medical GB shot whilst operating, revitalised his sporting aspirations.

He has represented Lincolnshire for many years, toured with the NRA Channel Islands Team 2012 and represented England in the Lawrence, National Match and European Long Range matches. He has also been selected for the England Team to tour Guyana later this year.

His spare time is occupied with supporting his various children (from the side lines), smallbore shooting and skiing.

Philip thoroughly enjoyed his first GB tour to Canada and the USA in 2014 and is very much looking forward to this second GB Tour.  He will be  accompanied by his family (Stephanie his wife being unofficial team physio) in BC.  Philip is official Team Doctor.  His aim is to make new friends in Canada.
