Matthew started shooting in 1992 at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford and is looking forward to target coaching with his fellow Old Guildfordians (and Bruce) in 2019. This will be his 8th tour with the Great Britain Rifle Team and his 2nd to New Zealand, having visited Trentham ranges in 2010. Whilst he has enjoyed a smattering of individual successes, most notably winning the Long Range Aggregate in the US Fullbore Championships in 2015, he much prefers wind coaching in team matches. This will be Matthew’s 5th World Championships having previously represented GB at 3 Palma Matches and once in the F-Class rifle discipline.
Away from shooting Matthew and Sarah live in Chelmsford and were joined by their son, Arthur, in early 2018. He is looking forward to the tour so he can get some sleep.
