Nick is one of the relics on the team, having started his shooting career over 45 years ago, and first competing internationally abroad 42 years ago! He has had his fair share of success over the years, including a Queen’s Prize and several Match Rifle championships, but considers it all a question of monkeys and typewriters.
Recently Nick captained a GB Target Rifle touring team for the first time, to South Africa in 2017, where GB completed the rare clean sweep of Australia, Protea and RSA International matches. Not one to shirk a challenge Nick is now looking forward to being main coach for GB on the Palma team.
Having been to Trentham in January 2018 he is relishing the opportunity to compete in the World Championships in 2019, despite Trentham’s habit of delivering chastening experiences to any who underestimate its perplexing zephyrs.
