Matt started shooting at Epsom College in 2001. What started off as just a bit of fun converting live rounds to empty cases (something Matt is particularly good at) quickly became a major part of his life. Matt was captain of his school winning the Ashburton in 2006, and has travelled across the world on various junior and senior tours, most recently gaining his first senior cap on the GB team to Camp Perry, Ohio for the World Championships. This will be Matt’s second senior tour and second time to South Africa (previously going in 2004 for the GBU19 team). He vaguely remembers the range and some basic Afrikaans, but is looking forward to reminding himself of these things and performing for the GB team once again. When not shooting Matt works in London account managing and the like.
