Richard Jeens GM SC

Richard has had the privilege of shooting with and against a number of teams and individuals in the UK and abroad and has been fortunate to have some success in winning HM Queen’s Prize in 2014 and taking individual victory in the World Individual Long Range Championships in 2011. However, team success remains Richard’s greatest pleasure in rifle shooting as he has progressed via Cambridge and the County of London to full international honours for Wales, with over a dozen appearances in each of the National and Mackinnon matches. Wales’ first win in the National Match in 2016 being a particular highlight. Richard has represented GB on a number of occasions, including as a member of the winning 2007 and 2011 Palma teams. He is therefore particularly looking forward to taking on the South Africans on their home range – especially with the added challenge the visiting Australian team will no doubt bring. Away from the range, Richard works as a solicitor in London.
