Tom Rylands SC

Tom is no stranger to South Africa, his first tour being way back in 1984. In fact he has fond (?!) memories of tented accommodation in snow, hail and torrential rain on Hamilton Range! More recently he captained the England Team to South Africa in 2009. This will be Tom’s tenth Great Britain tour, and he has shot in four Palma Matches and five Australia Matches. Despite keeping his head down, he has found himself in the role of Chairman of the English XX Club, and manager of the Successful Under 25 GB Team in Ohio last year as well as being part of the GB Palma Team. He now runs a shooting academy (among other things) at Ellesmere College and a Gunsmithing business. In what little spare time he has, he enjoys fine wine, food and game shooting!
