After the mammoth journey we underwent yesterday, the team have had a much needed day to recover at the hotel, get settled in and begin to acclimatise.

Wake up times were varied by priorities, with one half believing in getting used to early rises and getting some exercise in, whilst the other half prioritised a long and well deserved nights sleep after a couple of days of travelling.

Team activities were limited to unpacking team kit and reassembling rifles which survived with only damage to the Tobys’ rifles. Toby C having issues with his trigger and Toby L struggling with his bedding bolts.

Some of the team went for a swim, enjoying an energetic game of catch whilst others did a little work or read, enjoying soaking up some sunshine. Next was a trip to Bella Casa for lunch, a wonderful Italian restaurant in Bloemfontein. We enjoyed amazing Pizzas and huge steaks before heading back to the hotel.

The evening was spent shopping for essentials in the mall, a planning our first day on a range tomorrow, and relaxing at the hotel. The team had an early dinner, followed by a very competitive game of cards and then off to bed ready for a busy day tomorrow.
