Day 8

Henry Waldern

Day 3 on the range. Today started tunefully with bagpipes and a presentation of the Scottish Sword, the individual competition for the day. 2+7 at 300, 600 and 900 with changeable winds and warm temperatures meant the team had to work hard to come away with some competitive scores and a better understanding of the range.

The afternoon saw our first team matches and an opportunity to show our hosts and other competitors what we can do. 2 teams were entered, the RSA u25 match and the Vice-Presidents. We are pleased to say our Vice-Presidents team, boldly coached by Miles, were victorious despite the fickle winds. Well done to those 5!

Tomorrow marks the start of the SABU Grand and the U25 World Championship Individual. Bring it on!
